2 Days Training In Paris

Met the people I'm going with to Indonesia. It's good to have aprofile and a face to put on a name. So we are three: 2 girls and a guy.
-Natasha: 27 started workign not that long ago, funny, laughs as much as m if not more, fun!!!
-Karim: I'd say around 30ish, funny too!!!!
-And me...
So you can imagine if you put the three of us together what can happen.... Well, just during the 2 days of training... we were laughing most of the time!!! I tink it's gonna be a fun trip!!! We are abgreat team get along really well, put us in kind of hard conditions and it's not the laughing that we are going to cut first... on thecontrary (if you see whatI mean)!!!

So those 2 days of training what were they about.

They presented us the diferent organisation and who is getting moblised towards the inegality between North and South. Then , we worked on a study case which hapen to be our mission, Siberut. There we wre in little group and we had to answer soe questions that were supposed to help us understand the long-temr goal of the mission, what we on this 20 mission we are supposed to bring to help achieving the long-term goal (what our action is). At the end of the first day they presented us the organisation we are going with, "Planète Urgences".
Following day we started with an explanation of all the documents followed by a presentation of our mission, wher they are at, etc. Then, in the afternoon we had a presentation on the global warming. It was a rather... 'extreme' but true presentation... Imean when you are told that you are having a presentation on global warming you're like "oh yeah yeah.... I know I know about global warming"!! But once you're itting there and listenign to all the facts that qre pointed out in front of view... well... I can tell you... we are way down the line... the world is in BIG trouble...!!! And kind of out of control....!!!! Scary... unfortunately but true!!!! Anyway, to finish our second day with a presentation on cross-culture!!! (I have kind of a big background concernign that one!!!) : )

So the 2 days finished... Had a great time meeting a few people... And now was on my own walking down the streets of Paris liteign to some music... try to picture the scene in a very filmic way (if you see what I mean)... I leave you the luxury of putting on the atmosphere that you want (melancholic, happy, airy fairy...._your choice).

Last day in Paris, I run around trying to find a travel agency of the name of Wasteels as STA contacted me teling me that my flight for KL had changed. But after running around and finding out that there was no need to stress that the only change was that Gulf Air doesn't do any stop over in Muscat anymore so I'll be doing it in Bahrain. Relief...
5pm I was meeting a cinematographer by th name of Carlo Varini, a was nominated twice at the Cesar for "The Big Blue" and "Nikita" two films by Luc Besson for him to give me advice or contacts to try to gte a foot in the industry. His wife was very helpfull too.

Following I'm back on the TGV, this time I found my place so didnt have to travel on a folding seat on the platform. And back in Toulouse. Since I've been back my dad and I have been going to the movies most of the time and/or hiring dvds... Good way of occupying my time!!! :p

Well now... I better start organising my month in Indonesia... So better start making research if I want to have at least a angle if I do end up making a doco out of this trip!!! So have a few pages to go through!!!
